Gessi Goccia at the Milan Showroom

The Soak team visited Salone del Mobile in Milan earlier on this year and were invited to attend one of the glamourous evening events Gessi were putting on during the fair at their Via Manzoni showroom.  We had already seen a fabulous display of Gessi at the fair and were looking forward to seeing the showroom which is set amongst luxury fashion boutiques.  Most of the boutiques in the area had transformed themselves into pop-up showrooms every evening which only added to the whole buzz of the design fair.  One can only imagine what a phantastmagorical experience it must be during Fashion Week.

We walked up to find an old fashioned car decorated with Gessi Eleganza and a number of scooters.

We entered and walked past a waterfall entrance and were welcomed into the Gessi entertaining area with a pianist and drinks and delicious Italian party food.  We had a good look round the very atmospheric showroom with cascading greenery and absorbing the truly luxurious design.
